Centrifugal filter
DESIGN FEATURES AND PRODUCT PROFILE:
The filter is used to clean oil from metallic particles bigger than 5mm and non-metallic ones above 10 mm. The filter requires an external drive (7500 rpm.) of 0,5 kW power and an additional fulcrum (bearing) from the drive side. The essential filter element is a system of conical discs shielded with a hood and mounted on a hollow shaft. The whole is located in an aluminum alloy housing. It is used in Asz-62 aero-engine.
